Dan Partouche was born in Tiaret Algeria, 18 January 1936, third of ten children. Dan Partouche's father was an artist specializing in jewelry manufacture and goldsmithing. As a child,Dan Partouche showed interest in the intricate detail of his fathers filigree necklaces and earing. In elementary school illustrated childrens fables, in secondary school belonged to Jewish youth movement, La Gardonia and designed and decorated theater sets.
1954 - At age 18 Dan Partouche immigrated to Israel, mined the Kibbutz Hanita on the western Galilee, situated on a mountain slope overlooking the mediterranean. While there decorated the large glass windows of communal dining hall with drawings.
1962-1964 - At age 26 Dan Partouche studied and Avny Institute in Tel-Aviv. While studying in Tel-Aviv Dan Partouche was part of a young Israeli painters whose works were influenced byZaritsky, Streichman and Stematsky.
1966 - Dan Partouche received a scholorship from Israeli Minister of Culture to study at the school of St. Martin in London, studied serigraphy. Returned to Israel and taught at the Center for Art Studies in Hadera, a satellite of the University of Tel-Aviv.
1978 - Dan Partouche lived and worked in Paris.
1979 - Dan Partouche won first prize for painting in an art competition organized by the Center Malraux in Paris.
1982 - Dan Partouche moved back to Israel and began working in pastels. Today, Dan Partouche's principal activity is concentrated in painting unique original pastel and in the production of his serigraph, at his studio in Ra'anana, Israel.
